Andrew,
I have read your posts (a couple of times) but I still can't see your point. Are you saying that folks that don't own a busa are a lesser species than us .. and not worthy of being in our company? Do you feel they have nothing to offer? or maybe they will steal our valuable information and use it elsewhere for their own gains?.
I am a member of our local leagues club .. does that mean I have to play league .. no .. I love the game but I don't play it. How would I feel if some old fart in the corner had a whinge because I didn't play league? I'd probably snot the prick.
When I joined this club (around the same time as you) I had just bought my first busa and I stumbled across this club by chance. I wish to Christ I had found (and joined) it earlier because I wouldn't have bought the piece of shit that I did and I certainly wouldn't have paid 9 grand for it. I would have been more clued up on what was available and I more than likely would have bought from a member of this club.
In the few years I have been a member, I have seen quite a few come and go. Yes we have had our dickheads, some have even tried to come back under a different alias, but we are not silly .. if someone joins with an ulterior motive (i.e not to share the love of the busa) then we piss them off quick smart. Others have left because they weren't happy with the internal bickering .. well stiff shit, it's a forum as well as a club .. their loss.
Mate, please don't take this post as a personal attack against you. I have met you and I think you're a nice fella but at the end of the day, I don't think you have a leg to stand on. I would welcome anyone into this club with open arms, as those that join must share a similar passion as us or they wouldn't have even googled the word Hayabusa to start with ...
just my 2c worth (maybe 3) ...
and p.s ... I think anyone that joins a Porsche club is a pelican and those that drive Volvos are also pelicans .. but we still love 'em
