My #245 has a date on the compliance plate of 6/99 , it could be 5/99 tho, I just looked but it's jammed in the shed and couldn't clearly see, although I reckon it is 6/99, that being the case I guess it probably would have been shipped in the 5th month.. It does however have the bracket inside the lower fairings to hold the left and right panels together, there are no drilled holes under the front of the lower fairing..
