i didnt wanto keep the origional mount on like the one in the pic because to get the sleeve adound you have to bash the mount in with a hammer so it doesent have a high spot under the sleeve,( which is ok, because you cant see it again anyway... so i just cut the bugger off and made up some straps.
But once its on, you wont know the difference.
the mirror finish stailness cost me 80$ a pair cut and rolled to suit the pipe, which is a bit dear but exceptable.. all i needed then was a drill and pop rivets,
Once you sleeve it, ( and take out the internal baffles) as the other way described above wont work you'll never go back... if and when you ever ger a scrape or scratch, just get another sleeve rolled and attach.....
