Sleeving the standard cand with highly polished stainless
#14
Phil, I did about 50% of the polishing , including removing most of the weld reinforcement's on around the swingarm. Removing the anodizing is a pain in the rearend on the extruded sections as its extremely hard as you'd expect and difficult to get thru. I sent the rest out to be polished and chromed at a few different places around Sydney. I then clear coated virtually all the polished parts with a product from the USA . Its durability has proven to be good so far and more importantly maintenance free. The uncoated sections I rub over with "Mothers" and they also have shown to be doing well.

The tank bra and seat are made by a company called "Second Look" in the USA.

The polished stainless steel muffler sleeves do not have any rivets in them and as such give a very clean appearance as can be seen.

Does the screen look familiar Phil?
