I just found an old thread on this forum from 2005 about lane splitting when they were trying to re-inforce it's illegitimacy. Even then there is a note saying that riders concerns fall on deaf ears. The more things change the more they stay the same! I reckon I've saved my own arse 5 dozen times by shooting between cars as some fwit in a cage locks them up and skates over the spot where I was seconds before.
It's a week by week charade.
