You left roys too early yesterday an missed me
talking bout how shit the younger generation is these days...
An how they have no respect.
Back in your day,you tried to do anything to a teacher an youd
cop a metal ruler in the face.
These days kids throw there chairs at teachers an they
cop a suspension or expelled.
Moral of the story,kids have no respect or
dont get taught it.
Im telling you,they need a few good backhanders.
An i dont want to hear its wrong etc,i copped it
real bad,an im not saying its completely right,but it
taught me its far better to stay on the right track...
Then the wrong one.

I do agree , when i was in school we were in constant fear of getting the Cane , meaning that we never back chatted a teacher , never questioned and ALWAYS done what was asked of us , as mentioned kids now have no discipline.

I am currently living in a mixed family situation ( 3 of her kids living with us and my boy which i see every 2 weeks ) I have set various rules including no back chatting - jobs for pocket money ( dont do the jobs loose money form your pocket money. not enough pocket money to buy petrol -- no trail bike riding for them -- ect ) teaching them the value of good hard work and the rewards that it brings and not expecting things handed to you when you winge for long enough

They bitch and moan now that the rules are to hard and that its easier at dads place because he has no rules and they get to do what ever they want and just play playstation all day when in his care. What they dont realise is he does not give a shit about them. lets them do what ever they want because he could not be bothered with them does not take them anywhere or do anything with them. The eldest one even told his dad to "f&*k off" the other day when his dad called him a "stupid prick" for not being able to read right. he has never dared to say anything like that to me. WHY? respect ! -- with me they are rewarded for good things and encouraged when they do wrong , treated accordingly ..... Long and short - there is to much emphasis on school teachers to do the moral teachings of children and parents/ guardians should step up and take responsibility
