Australian Rules football used to be a level playing field..............but under the AFL you've got the best footballers from any given STATE shoe horned into one or two mega teams playing what in reality are local suburban teams from Melbourne, how can that be fair
It hasn't worked & the only way to even up the competition under these rules is to amalgamate Melbourne clubs into more powerful units. St Kilda, Hawthorn, Bulldogs, Melbourne, Richmond & the Roos are playing on borrowed time IMHO....then there's the low membership base as well.................
So you interstaters, which local WAFL or SANFL sides did you dump to clamber on the Eagles/Port bandwagons ?
