Power Commander II
#1
Happy New Year to everyone !!

After my previous post about aftermarket exhausts I decided to buy a pair of Remus Grand prix, carbon fibre, oval exhausts
they look fantastic and they sound great.

Now I am looking at either remapping or fitting a
Power Commander II as I find I have lost some of the crispness of throttle I used to have (Damn)
I expected it to happen
to be honest it is not that bad but enough to annoy me.

So can anybody share their knowledge on the Power Commander II
How effective is the unit as it comes supplied ? I presume using its supplied map and its adjustability you can richen the mixture to find the best balance ?
or is adding a new map more of an option ?
what do they cost here in Aussie ?
what is the procedure to add a new map ?
Apart from the Power Commander site is there any other sites around with more info on the using ,setting and remapping of the unit ?
or is remapping the Suzuki ECU a better option
(the only drawback I see with this is that any changes you may make in the future might require a new remap)

Ride Safe
Brian
