Police have impounded a motorcycle after the rider was clocked travelling at 216 kilometres per hour near Williams, south-east of Perth.

Police say the 34-year-old rider was overtaking a vehicle on the Albany Highway in West Arthur at the time.

He is due to appear in the Narrogin Magistrates Court on August 23 to face a charge of reckless driving.

The bike has been impounded for 28 days.

Why did he stop FFS?

The leech's...sorry WA politicians... must need a raise hey?? certainly have to pay for the recent rise in coppers pay...what a crock...another home invasion and all the pigs can do is catch speeding motorists...I read somewher recently that WA detectives were finding it difficult to manage their case loads can see why all the plods are out with speed cams!
