Ok Canberra mob, I've had a look at google maps, and it is close to 250kms and says 3 1/2hrs by car. Of course we are not going by car, so we'll ignore that.

I suggest the meeting place of the underpass at Eagle Hawk at 9am, no excuses, no late passes. Because we will be strapped for time, should we go straight up the highway and turn in at Moss Vale, or go the back way past Bungendore and off the highway to Marulan?

P.S. I've cross-posted this on the Canberra thread.

Sure Pan, not a problem. The edit button was removed because it was being mis-used by a member and causing a truckload of fuss.

So is this just a day run?

At this stage I'm booked to go shooting Friday night, usually don't get home until 4 or 5 Saturday morning. Shit!!! Have asked one of my bosses if he wants to bring his sprog shooting. !! f***!! this will cost big time. Gotta back out of the shooting - gotta go to the Valley!!

I'm in!!

Max - I am so dead at work I'd better stay in the Valley after lunch.
Good weather, good woman, good road, good bike, good-bye!!

heidi- to stay off the highway go bungendore way and turn right to bungonia rec area just before the freeway overpass at goulburn. then about 20- 25k (i think) there is a left turn near a little bridge that gets you to marulan. you have to use the hume for a few k's then just after the rta weighbridge turn right and take the backroads through tallong, bundanoon, exeter etc. follow any signs that say nowra/ kangaroo valley/ fitzroy falls and you should be right. funny how when you live somewhere you just know the roads but its hard to explain to someone else! this way adds a little time and k's but is worth it. youll still do it under three hours providing you don't get lost!! see ya
keno
Ludicrous speed- go!
