I'm a few thousand in, and they're incredible to ride with in the dry.
In the wet on the other hand. Yikes. It's as if the bike likes to slide sideways in case the tyres get a little water on them. They're fine when it's actually raining and there is pooling water on the road, but the light-shower grease they're slippery as all hell. At first I thought it was just me, but I've never been bothered by riding in the wet (heck, I've taken the 'busa offroad onto mud for laughs). Then one day in the space of 6 km, I had the bike not only two wheel slide, but then step out sideways as I crossed a lane line and then had the rear end spin up crossing the grate into the garage at work at all of about 10km/h. And that's not even mentioning the expansion gaps on the Riverside Expressway on ramps and exits. I've definitely got no confidence in them gripping when the road is a bit greasy. That said, their dry weather performance is so good, I might just keep risking my neck ![]()
