2002 model speed limiting

Sorry, gotta agree once more with you Rocket man.
Fu#k me, if some of you guys rode as much as you talked you be fricken experts! Been ridin' only 25 years on the road, had at least 6 0r 7 of the fastest bikes ever produced and still don't claim to know as much as some of you profess.
Gotta go, the microwave pop corn is ready.
Cheers, Phil. RIDING NOT TALKING.

Hey Gdy, I hope you're not trying to spread peace and harmony, there...

I personally think that... oh wait, better not have an opinion.

FFG like Mt Vesuvius was subtle at first...then it erupted with a barrage of flame

Did you guys end up catching up for that double latte?
Or was it still raining in Spain??

The top speed decree was probably a very good idea...the last thing the world needs is more squids with $17000 and a licence for 12mths doing 300kph++ down the Hume or the western ring...at night no less

At least with cars the $$ of speed is somewhat restrictive...

I'll find out if the Barge has anymore mumbo when it gets strapped down to the dyno later in the week Rocketman. Not that I've been tweaking it again!
Hell no Bigshow! Too fast for us! While were on the speed subject, what was your speedo indicating on our last blast near the Crossroads????? (At least it was day time!)
Have a warm Milo Richard, kick back and have a laugh at our expense for a change. "Ding" There goes that bloody Microwave again. Popcorn anyone.
Cheers, Phil. Riding not talking. (Well sometimes talking!)

Never caught up for the Latte, was willing though. Never mind, next time.

And what's wrong with 300 clicks at night? Considering an XGD (HID) headlight which should help out alot. Local company stocks kits for the $600 mark. In case you haven't noticed, there are less cops on the freeways (Hume) at night, and less cars. (More trucks and wildlife though, but eh.)

:is it not true that when the bus speed limiter cuts in the restriction is caused by one of the injectors cutting out causing the power to decrease this only happens when in sixth hitting 280k's. and it is true that there are cheaper methods like putting in a resistor causing the bikes computer to think that it is still in 5th which in turn causes the bike to become unrestricted allowing you to get full speed potential.

From previous posts I see that people are getting around the speed limiter on earlier models but i've heard that you cant do the same with the '02? Is this right and if so what are people doing with this model? (not that i want to really see 300)
