Heidi's EXCELLENT Adventure.
Mr Invisible - couldn't you have used one of the heated hand grips from your busa to make yourself - err visible again Very Happy

I'm going to make Mr Invisible a cape so we can spot him when he goes invisible again. We'll be talking and suddenly just a cape will saunter past with the confident swagger of someone who wears their underpants on the OUTSIDE!

I'm never going to a party again unless there is a Mr Invisible.

So the sight of blokes taking their grundies off gets you off. Have a heart woman, what about the blue blooded males - we may well have to import a sheila, not middle aged, to do the Ms Invisible thing, fair is fair.

Thanks heaps, it is going to be bloody hard work, but when was the last time you had an adventure like this?

We'll post a ride plan closer to the date, we'd love to have club members join us for legs.

Hey Heidi, i've never attempted anything like your up coming trip but in June i rode from the Hunter Valley up to Maroochydore took about 10 hours and four fuel stops, stayed there for two nights and rode straight back in just under 10 hours in the driving rain...but really enjoyed the challenge of going that far in one day.

Same, I love the physical challenge of long rides, you really get into a groove, but you know you've gone far enough when you are more comfortable with the helmet on that off.

You may well find a few WA riders will go up the track a bit and meet you. Dates when you know them! Beds at my place if you need them.

Just rode 2000 k's in 3 days on our bikes. Headed off up to Cairns (from Mackay) then rode up to port douglas and did a big loop around mareeba, atherton, malanda down to Innisfail. Rode Innisfail to Mackay for the homeward trip, took it pretty easy and did it in good time.

Was a nice ride for the new bike, very nice on the mountains. Although watch the innisfail to Cairns (& if you go north to port douglas) there's a lot of road works at the moment and slow riding. Apart from that the rest of the roads were great.

Best thing I ever did was get it cut down!!! I found it way more comfortable.

Sad thing is today, felt like we should still be riding on the bikes. Not sitting at home doing the boring house chores ;-p

But glad to be home in the comfy bed, everywhere we stayed, pricey or cheapo the beds were bloody awful!
