Freeplay in the front brake lever - how much?

Air comes to the top... about an hour will do it though... you'll feel the difference!

Still crap. I had cylinder and caliper seals replaced and it made no difference!

my brakes are ACE, new factory rotors, and atleast an hour of bleeding, ecery last iota of air from the system.

about half way through bleeding my lever was exactly the same as yours Pan.
You will have to come over one afternoon and i will bleed them for you.
