Who rides with high beam on?

Low Beam only during the day...can't stand people with high beam on during the day...pet hate really!!! use high beam when it's dark and no other vehicles are around unless they leave their high beam on too long before dipping then i'll get them just before they go past with a flash just to show them who's boss Lol3
I'd rather be riding my Hayabusa thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my Hayabusa

maybe I didn't explain correctly.
I meant do you ride during the day with high beam on for other drivers to see you better.
I have heard of a few people doing this.

I know it's a bit hot at the moment for some poor darlings, but don't those idiots on weekends riding their wizbangs in shorts and T-Shirts make ya think the world is fuel of suicidal idiots?

I often do, it makes me feel safer that I have been seen. A phobia that I developed about 25years ago after flying over the bonnet of a lady drivers car that turned right across my path and claimed that she didnt see me.

I got a headlight modulator fitted to my high beam. I flick it on when I think appropriate. I reckon it only cost $70 and if 1 person sees me a bit earlier and doesn't pull out infront of me then it was money well spent.

Can you explain the modulator function Pommie?

I can see what you write now that your avatar is different. A shame, less mesmerising !!

It's a little doodad that makes your high beam sort of flash on and off, but automatically switches itself off when light fades to enable normal high/low beam use. When flashing it doesn't actually switch the globe on and of as this would affect the lifespan of the globe, more sort of fades it on and off very rapidly. Had comments about it like people though I was police coming up behind them etc. They are legal I as rang the QLD Traffic police and asked, and there is a Traffic regs web site where again it states they are legal.

Thanks Pommie. Sounds like a great idea, and I can't see a problem if people mistake you for police. At least they are keeping an eye on you. Would work well for me that way on a white.

I actually fitted small driving lights to my 750 Gixer. Man everyone saw me comin. The tin tops were pulling to the left lane on the F3 all the time I used them. Was a great idea I thought. If I could work with Fibroglass I would possably incorpurate a set on the Busa. Very functional and it doubles up when touring.

Hmmmm might look into a TAFE course

I will post a photo of the Gixer. Stay tuned..........

Only when some twit coming the other way has their high beam on during the day. It still dazzles other road users, If they don't see your low beam, they aren't looking, meaning they wont see your high beam either.
