10th Anniversary Run - WA

Well Fellers I've started another thread for the polling as requested in the riding not talking for those that haven't seen it and I will hold it open for a couple of weeks so go and vote on your preference. It ask 2 questions so you can vote on them both. ( Also in riding not talking )

1 Dates - 4-6 ( Fri - Sun ) or 5-7 ( Sat - Mon )
2 Accommodation or Camp it.

As far as other bikes and pillions go well I have no issues as far as I'm concerned all are Welcome.

Hi all, was wondering if we should post this run on other sites such as PSB & Perth Riders to attract other Busa riders? As by going by the poll only 6 people have expressed an interest and it could attract more people to the group. Just a thought.

And on another note has anyone thought of destinations and routes yet, so as we can get some accommodation booked?

I don't have any real concerns with that RooBoy as long as it stays with what it is about and we don't get every other clown coming with everything else but a Busa.

We really need to get going on this as we will need to book somewhere shortly and we need to get some numbers.

As far as destination are concerned I have mentioned the below and there has been no other suggestions so do we just go ahead with this one and start planning.

Day 1 - Pemberton ( may as well stick with that one as Andy suggested the Karri Valley.)
Day 2 - Margaret River Region ( Caves Rd nice section of road )
Day 3 - Home.

I suppose it's how many km's we want to do over the the 3 days.
I was looking at:
Day1: Perth - Albany, via Albany Hwy but there is some back roads from williams to Kojonup or Mt Barker. And then we could do some sights in Albany that day or next.
Day2: Albany - Pemberton: via Denmark, Walpole, Treetop Walk. Stay at Karri Valley or Pembo Chalets just out of town (great outdoor kitchen / mess area) Gloucester tree to visit there also.
Day3: Pembo - Perth via Augusta & Margies. Wineries etcto visit

That's about a 1000k's in the saddle over 3days with day two being only about 250k's.

Also about posting it on PSB or Perth Riders, I agree it's only for Busa's. Except for very close friends. I don't want 1098's, R1's & ZX14's tagging along lowering the standard.

Just a suggestion.

Hi RooBoy I don't think Ks are an issue as a lot of the guys do the Pembo run and back in the same day so all I was trying to do was split the days up with some nice roads and a few K's in the saddle and then enjoy the late arvos with some beverages of some sort and good food that night and for those that wanted to look around could go off and do their thing.

Do we want to poll the 2 destinations and go from there or I can PM some guys and try and get some more input.

Would a few guys like to get together and open up some maps, then we can choose a few different routes and do a pole, just a thought
