"Oggy Knobs" GENII
#1
Hi all,
Who has "Oggy Knobs', or some form of variant of these on their Gen II's?
I see through brousing quickly that a lot of these knobs require the cutting out of the Fairings to be fitted properly.

Does anyone have a variant of this so that cutting out of Fairings isnt required?

Cheers,
Matt.

I used the fairing bolt holes, I didn't want to cut the fairing Coolrasta

I have a 'no cut' type, basically a bracket goes across the front of the engine, and the ogys stick out the vent holes in the fairings.
A pain in the ass to fit but looks good and def does the job..

Axe, Who, where, and how much?
"Def does the job".......are you talking with experience on this matter; (ie binning it with them on)?
I wanna buy a set of "Knobs" that i can have total faith in.

All input is appreciated!

hehehe,

I had the bike fall of the side stand.
def saved it. just scratched up the rear end.

They were about the $4-500 mark, and I got them from the suzuki shop where I bought the bike from.

Yea they are really well made!
top quality, but there is a metal bracket that goes along the front of the engine, so the hole rig is a little heavy, but i suppose it'll take a lot more force and impact then the ones that just use a single screw hole.

I fitted my ones and took maybe 1-2 hours and a 6pack.
mite have been quicker with out the 6er???

it's a well made rig, and fits together very tightly... the hardest thing was getting everything aligned properly. Just a little dicking around.

Hope that helps.

i'm one of those people who just dont get oggy knobs. why ruin one of the best looking bikes with a couple of huge skateboard wheels sprouting from the sides like a chest burster.

thats what insurance is for, if you have it. get your moneys worth.

also, on the 14, only the magneto cover etc touch down, and are cheaper than oggy knobs LOL
