Running a bit rough down low
#1
Put some new carbon cans on a few weeks back, sounds and looks sweet compared to the stocks. Idles a bit rough but once you get the power on smooth as silk. Its more noticable at slow speed in traffic. I could put up with it but prefer not to. Is this an easy fix or is it going to hurt?

Hi Les,
you may need to remap your computer mate. Shouldn't cost more than an hours labour.

Why on earth would it be rough due to an airbox mod ? ?
Sounds like another of those URBAN Myths to me !
Tuned is tuned ................. but then guessing is guessing also ?
Have TPS set ...............(with voltmeter ) after base idle is set, then have fuelling measured and mapped and it will purr like a kitten at idle and roar like a lion when kicked in the guts.

if youve had air box mod it will be rough down low no matter what you do, if box un-touched then shud be able to fine tune it.

Cleos is in Fitzroy St. Free for all comers! It is up towards the StK junction end of Fitzroy street.

Keep an eye on the thread if you want to be sure someone is going down there, as although there are those who turn up without posting, there are weeks when there is nobody...
