Who hasn't crashed?

Question
DON'T VOTE IF YOU'VE CRASHED!

I've gone about 12 years now of riding and I haven't had a crash.
I don't mean little drops or mild rear-ends. I mean big wipe outs with broken bones, torn tissues, massive trauma etc.
I've ridden UK & Australia...city and country. It's always been my primary transport and I've technically never owned a car.
I am not a fast rider, over-cautious and usually below my capability.

If you haven't had a crash yet, please vote as to how long you've been riding.

Cheers

How can you call the poll "have you crashed" when the first thing in your post is "don't vote if you've crashed"?

You have my permission to ask one of the mods to change to something else. I don't care what it's called.

Just voted, hope this is not a case of now it WILL happen.
Have seen plenty of guys crash , a couple die and it slows you down a bit every time.
I was on the scene of one on the way to Tathra , fortunately minor injuries to rider, major trauma to bike , and in the middle of nowhere an hour from ambos.
Early in my riding career I should have crashed many times , but through sheer arse or good luck I have only had a few very minor drops.
Interested to hear of any other long term riders stories.

ps 62 tomorrow , started road riding at 15

I came off my 1st bike 3 times in the 1st year of riding 1970, and avoided any further offs till Apr09 when a ditzy dame in Nissan Xtrail changed lanes over the top of me without looking. We were both in the wrong place at the wrong time. I was in the lane next to her and she was driving a car when she should not have a license. Trouble is there are thousands out there just like her.

If you ain't crashin'.......you AIN'T trying hard enough!!! Idiot2

I've crashed more times than I care to remember Confused.....and lost lots & LOTS of skin, and broken a few bones as well Pi_freak......but if I could do it all over again....I wouldn't change a single thing (even and especially all the painful and costly moments) Pi_thumbsup....coz doing it "the hard way" is usually the best, and only way....to truly learn!! (...for me, anyway) Coolsmiley

I can't vote either.
Just about came off every weekend when I first started riding.
Then stopped coming off . . . went faster . . . started coming off again.
This went on up until I was about 21. - bad crash - hurt lots - broke bits - lucky to still be walking. - decided to change habit.

Haven't had a crash in the last 27 years. - partly due to experience and good riding habits, and lots to do with luck.

Well I can't vote I'm in the same boat as some of the the other guys had lots going on when I was younger, wrote 2 bikes off spent 7 months of work with one off (No Broken Bones) and plenty of funny minor off's.

So I'm a bit like Wardy changed a few habits and gained some valuable lessons & experiences and have stayed upright for last 19yrs
