Frame plugs
#1
Just got these frame plugs. Less than 10 bucks delivered to the door. Good quality. I suggest a dab of silicon on them. Why don't these come standard??

Looking good Dj Pi_thumbsup but if you do not like having holes in your bike maybe you should fix these bullet holes as well Lol3Lol2Roll

Batfink, as far as I know just black, some are not perfect fit but should work. See if the silastic helps, waiting to dry.
Update: Silastic dried and stuck well. All good

mmm I think Ide rather them be inconspicuous. Plus 70 bucks vs 10!! Lol
Still would like to know how the screw on ones work though
ps silastic has dried now and those suckers aren't coming out in a hurry :-)
plus 38 smakeroos postage! Yikes

I think the screw ones use the opposite plug to hold them in. As in the threaded rod goes through the chassis from one side to the other and the plugs thread onto each end.

Someone else mentioned that. Good one. If these fall out thats where I will go. So they had them all in stock and they fitted well?
also do you have a pic? would be good to see if they stick out as much as mine
