mate my bus wouldn't rev or run past 7 thou ,then it got slower turned out to be a seriously rooted fuel filter ,

if the miss is constant start with spark plugs ,then coil packs ,i got a few spare i can sell ya,the key here is start with the cheapest part n go from there ,dont assume straight away as your wallet will hate you for it!work out which cylinder isnt firing then fit a new plug to it ,if its still there let me know ,never discount a stuck or blocked injector, but thats a last resort.

I disagree redhead.. Spending $160 on a full injector sonic clean was best investment I did... We all know that no matter what u do injectors always slowly gunk up. If ur mech is a good one he/she will not only remove, clean, replace, and tune but also advise on any injector issues too.... For an engine to go BANG in a good way u need 3 things all precisely timed.
AIR
FUEL
SPARK

But then to get them right you need to deal with everything's else LOL

Other than ignoring injectors I agree with redhead to start with cheapest option first
BTW. Wat RYDRZ was trying to point out is extremely important..

How u got ur bike set up makes a big dif as to what is making it play up

I take it you are only experiencing this under light throttle loads. from your post it sounds like you need a tune and your TPS maps need to be looked at - there is a set of maps for throttle positions below 11% and if your AFR is out......hello stutter.

I had a similar problem where my bike would surge at light constant throttle settings in top gear, it was really annoying whilst cruising, but still had full acceleration. I added a smartTRE even though mine is an unrestricted model. Difference was immediate.

I tried that after reading previous posts of yours but its still there. It has been dyno tuned since this started but only slightly reduced it. it also has been recently serviced.

After a bit more research Im leaning towards as someone said the injectors or apparently there is a small screen in the fuel pump assembly that can become dirty and cause similar problem.

Thanks for your input, I suppose its a matter of trial until I can pinpoint the problem.
