Good Riding Gear Worthwhile
#1
Folks,

Yesterday I hit a roo at app 100kph, hit the road face down and walked away with a couple of small cuts and a little bruising. The bike and roo not so lucky.

I was on that other bike so the Busa is OK.

Without the proper kit my injuries would have put me in hospital for a long time. Also big thumbs up to the SES and Ambos (and the other people who stopped to help). Thumbs down to the cager who thought I needed their comment that I was going too fast even though they weren't around when it happened.

My observations attached.

Just goes to show what happens if you go out dressed for the occasion and it all goes wrong. You can't ever be sure of going out and nothing ever going wrong, there is nothing like falling off and still being able to wipe your arse when you get home by yourself with all your own skin still there??is there.hope your ok and keen to get back out there! Australian wildlife can be an real pain in the arse
