Looks great, and makes me consider trading up...
One thing, though. May be time to change the indicators to coloured globes and clear lenses....

actually the black/silver was 2001, it was in 2000 that i stuck with my copper,, your new one looks great too, is that a sheepskin cover on the seat or just a bad photo? ride it in good health and keep that rubber firmly on the ground,, regards les

Sorry about that Did you notice that the 2003 Model does not require the use of a stand, apparently there are Rare Earth Magnets placed in either side of the Fairings which render the Stand obsolete. ?? Brian

No I didn't notice... I can see the fingers holding the front tyre though, even though they have been dipped in black paint first...
I DID notice that you have the dicky reflector on the forks that I thought only came on the U.S. version...

Im guessing it is a US picture if the stand is on the wrong side also?

I presume the magnetic stand disables when the bike moves - Might be a bastard to try and take some sharp bends with that invisible force pushing the bike back to vertical!
Hey, maybe I have one and don't know it, and that is why I can't scrape my pegs...

The bike is as it came from the Dealer, reflectors and all. By the way the Camera that you get with the bike just arrived and it takes great photo's, definitely a nice little bonus. Brian

Those Rare Earth Mag Lev Devices really work don't they,
looks just the same as mine, I didn't realise they were available in 2001/2002 were they an option? or standard fitment?. Brian P.S Strange about the reflectors, wonder if any others have them. Have you got your Camera yet?

yepppp, them is as rare as hen's teeth and they are not standard on any of the series, as far as the reflectors are concerned, i think you got a US model by mistake..... haven't received my camera yet, they said it could take up to 3 weeks from suzuki, anyway i'm not in a hurry for it cos i just bought one a few weesks ago not realising that there was one being offered with the bike, so i'll be selling it on ebay when it arrives... i'm serioulsy in love with this new silver/silver colour scheme... les |
