not as easy as we thought.
cant connect with adsl obviously because of lines etc.
the best bet i think is use my laptop hook up a modem and he uses dialup from the ph line in hospital.

does anyone either..
1. have a dialup account he can use
or 2. know of any free dialup providers
(I know there used to be a few but I cant find any at the mo...the deal is usually that u need to log on after 10pm or something)

run in to problems here as well with this idea due to the way the hospital phone systems work. :(

Because they use PABX systems & his line is not patched right through to a normal phone line like a house it wont work.

Thus Telstra's Next G wireless broadband will come in to play!

yep - I will be going to the shop tomorrow & picking this up - on behalf of someone else.

So broadband wireless will be in Mr Rod's hands tomorrow :)

just tested it!! DAMN! its bloody faster then my adsl 2 connection!! frig!
