Brisbane gets Busa First!!!

Also, the Hypermotard. This thing soooo exceeded my expectations. It was genuinely my favourite thing at the whole show. (second to the 08 Busa of course) Only just but haha.

I went today, the Ducatis lookd like.... well Ducatis, very red. The Hondas looked like boring Hondas except the CBRs looked like they had a power saw accident. Kawasakis were green, Yamaha, well nothing new there. The Busa looked like they forgot to paint the tail and left it in the sun and the tail drooped, the BKing......Well the BKing what can i say, possibly the ugliest motorcycle ive ever seen, they should have provided a air sickness bag when you looked at it. Lots of Harleys with ground breaking twin headlights. Triumph really need a lesson in exhaust aesthetics. The only stand actually selling aftermarket parts was the streetfighter stand. Overall i had a good day tho cause there were lots of tits and bums to look at.

Anyone else as excited as me to see the '08 in the flesh?

G'day all
Have downloaded several photos and looks great except for that rear end, it may look better in the flesh.

I really liked the 08 'busa, it looks chunky and muscled in the flesh. Mind you, I was thinking it over as if I had the rear cowl removed and had a seat on there (as my girl loves to ride with me). The B-King was butt ugly, but if it rode well I could see it easily growing on me. I mostly agree with ausdragbike's assessment of the show otherwise.

The indoor stunt show was somewhat interesting, I kept wondering what the rafters of the hall looked like as the riders were launching off the ramp.

Yes me and Mr Tony went to the bike show and nothing was "simply must have" for Mr Tony. The busa is great in the flesh (Im a girl what the hell do I know) but unless it does the freaking washing Mr Tony will have to stick to precious for a little bit longer. However overall I enjoyed the show as you can mull around and look at all the different brands without some salesman jumping out from behind a display and giving you heart failure. I sat on few bikes and am quite sold on the Ducati Monstar (booo hiss I can hear you say). Being vertically impaired sorta crossed a busa of my list and quite a few others. That leaves the ER6, the FZR6, the Monster, and the SV. While at the show were ran into Tony Nitros, and Busy Busa and Mrs Busy.

Nothing wrong with the monster Mrs Tony, if you want to be a girl who rides a busa you have to be built like me otherwise you have NO chance of touching the ground. As it is I can only get my toes down. The SV is another great bike for the vertically challenged.

I thought that you could get some platform shoes from the podiatrist to overcome ducks disease.
