2009 Superbike Round 1 - Whos going?

Tony and I are heading to Melbourne for the WSBK round 1. We will be there on Wednesday and leaving Sunday. Flying down on an airplane (not the road jet) and picking up a hire car. We are staying in Forbes at the Beach Front Motel. Its a bit of a hike from PI but we have a hire car and a Tomtom so we should be right. Look out for us. We will be the ones rugged up, probably only see the whites of my eyes.

I am heading down on Tuesday on my own. Leaving the Central Coast to Sydney.Got some stuff to do. Then head west to Blackheath at a mates place for the night. Wednesday, Oberon,then south to Corryong,doing the inland run south for a change, staying at relos for the night. Then a short stint to Tallangatta where I am meeting fellow riders at the local for a piss up. Early start Friday morning to Phillip Isl.
Thats the plan.

Yeah Shredder we were going to do that but with the painting of the house not done, Tone thought best do that then do Tassie another time. I tried talking him into getting a painter in but he would rather spend money on the beemer and VFR so who am I to argue if I am getting something out of it. Well we made it to Melbourne. Got pulled over for a GSR test which came up positive. That will learn me to go to the pistol club the night before jumping on a plane. Staying in Frankston. It has a great variety of restaurants which is great.

We are going early sunday morning, qik stop at San Remo for brekkie and then onto the track for the day..Black k9 Busa with Racefit exhausts..Hope every1 has a ball and hope the Melb weather doesnt turn crappy on the day for the real racers on the circuit!!
