Cheap radiator mod
#1
Check out the budget radiator cover , $16.99 mesh from autobarn. Mesh comes in all different colors . Installation is 1 hours work.

1/ take the fairings off.(if you have small hands you can leave on)
2/ Cut mesh to size , use mesh packaging box as a template.
3/ Bend and fit. tie on with wire or cable ties.

no more worries about stones. Bonus you can remove it and fit it to your next bike as well.

Same stuff they use for the hole mesh covering in the fairings mod.

You should get some crimp weld for around the outside edges just to finish it off.

If its trashed let me know, I got a K8 radiator with both fans, bottle and wiring loom from a wrecking yard in QLD delivered to me in Sydney for $250.00. Its in perfect nick, I could contact him and see what he has for the Bking.

Its going in for a service soon, i was going to let them get it repaired,
Thinking about it now, i might just pull it off myself and take it in first.
I'll post up how I get on.

thankgod it wasnt niv..phew...

just rang him thinking we owed rydrz money for repairs.

niv said those stones were at the back of the radiator not the front and been there a while to wear holes like they did.that if they were at the front it would have taken more than a 5km ride to wear thoes holes.

all good.....:)
