07 pipes on an 08

Hi Guys i have a question,

I have an 08 Busa and was wondering if an 07 slip on pipe kit would fit as they seem cheaper than 08 kits.

Sorry Craig. This question pops up quite a bit and the connection flange at the gasket between the mid pipes and mufflers are different between the Gen 1 99 - 07 AND Gen II 08 >.
Lots of good 08 slip ons are available though.

If you want to put a full GEN 1 system on your K8, you can but you need to block out your O2 sensor to the ECU.
That my require a PC and dyno as well.

but do you mean were the mid pipe joins to the cat as the units i have seen come with mid pipes and cans as a whole package or do you mean the three bolt flange between the mid pipe and the can.

Im pretty sure he fitted my old mid pipes off the gen 1 onto the gen 2
so he could mount his gen1 after market cans as they wouldnt fit the gen 2 as the bolt patten was different

if the pipes have and adjustable bracket they will fit un-modified the only diffence in the flange is a rotation of about 10 or 15 degrees from memory. i fitted a complete gen1 system to my jaffa. the tiforce on it now is also gen1
