The "FL" light is on??

does anyone have an idea why my red fl light stays on? and the fl flashes in the clock display too. does fl mean fuel injection? As it only started when i installed the TRE??
The fact is that the TRE fixed the spluttering which i thought was filters but obviously not, but did what it claims (runs real smooth). What would be my next move? to fix this problem?, or should i ignore the fl light?

You'll probably find it has a code C31 ................ check wires into TRE unit and you will probably find there is a bad connection on one of them or the unit is faulty.
