Just played this game for the first time this morning on PC and WOW!
I played MotoGP 2 through to 7, and this just blows them all the f*** out of the water.
Graphics are finally up to date for a bike game (long overdue), and it's bikes you can actually identify with, the big 4 jap bikes, aprilia, ducati (they had to throw it in, don't blame them), and even the new bmw! The models are bang on, proportions are right, nothing missed out, no ugly textures - all 3d detail.
The best part of this game is in the settings section, where you can remove all the dickhole bullshit like traction and braking aids, if you rip open the throttle your bike will wheelie (not quite as out of control as it should but not bad). if you rip the throttle mid corner you WILL spin out the tyre and crash, you get speed wobbles, wobbles from moving about on the bike, you even lock the wheels if you gear down to fast coming into a corner! The game has thought of everything, if your a softcock you can turn off all the realism and it transforms into something a little more fun, like if you've had a few beers and you better not rip the busa, you can easy this game up and it's...well obviously no serious substitute but it's a lot of fun.
I've only played it for 20 minutes, I haven't even tried the tuning section - which appears to be very involving.
The only two mistakes I've found is that there's no busa...but you can forgive them since the reason's in the name of game ;)
And the sound is, although realistic under a helmet, a little subdued. I'd would have liked to hear those gp exhausts roar - oh that's another thing, not sure what the name for it is but the exausts flame a bit on overrun - you know, that little bit of flame that pops from the exausts. Like I said, every detail of biking realism is there and you must try it!!
Anyone else played it?
