Hotbodies 09 GP Screen Dark Smoke Problems
#1
Hi All,

Just went to put on the Hotbodies 09 GP dark smoke screen and cannot fit it.
The holes are at least half an inch out from stock and the wellnut washers cannot fit through new screen.

Just wondered if anybody had issues with these screens or maybe they have shipped the wrong one which may be unlikely.

Regards,

Richo

YOU ARE CORRECT,there has been a batch of these screens and they dont fit at all,as Bike gear warehouse found out and quietly brushed the prob to the side.I bought a few in the dark smoke(all where returned) and after two months of fckuing me around all I got was a credit memo that is not worth shit .First time I dealt with them (BGW)it was good second was ok and from then on it went up the shit.......!!!!

Haha point taken on board mate I work away so there was no way I could get the screen back within 7 days so its lost money i recon.
Thanks for the experience and advice.
Zero gravity may be the go.

Drill new holes Pi_thumbsup

Good idea and one that I immediately thought of but the existing holes are in such a place that if I drilled new ones the holes would overlap and therefore be useless.

also you might want to try powerbronze, my last screen was a powerbronze screen and it fitted perfectly, just be warned tho if you get and irridium windscreen and you leave your bike out in the sun it will start to melt the plastic that surrounds your spedo, like it did to mine

I've bought a couple of factory second screens for Gen 2 from Zero Gravity's factory outlet site and have been very happy with Quality, service, and price.

Worth a look: http://www.zgoutlet.com
If it's too loud....You're too old!
If it's too fast....You're too old!
If it's too sexy....You're ???

I would not be recommending a product that melts dash inserts and possibly create a fire just cause it fits perfectly,my next question would be if you have been compensated by Powerbronze for the direct damage the screen did to your bike???

when i bought the screen it came with a warning that it might melt things, and that we put it on at our own risk so i think because of that warning powerbronze technically get out of having to give money back

Hopefully that warning is written in other languages when this magnifying glass for a screen is exported to non English speaking countries!!!
