its a very inspireing read i hope to be able to ride or even throw a leg over (wether it be bike or woman) at that age

Yeah BK.....I'd like to see video footage of the old bugger getting on/off his bike. Could be quite comical (as long as he doesn't break his hip in the process).

Old story. Len died a few years back, 2004 i think ? Bit of a biking legend in the UK.
My ex-Mrs used to live right by his shop in Sparkbrook / Birmingham, and we often saw him about.

Couple of years ago we had the Ulysses AGM in Tallangatta. One of the old fellas was 89. - That impressed me.
