And this is how they will justify it

Well we obviously made some noise about the changes to CTP rises, and now the government has fired back with the first of its reasons to justify those rises.

That is how they will bend us all over, they will trot out bullshit statistics in news stories over the next 6 months while the public forgets about the rally. by the time the ctp issue is back on the table the government and insurers will have the full backing of the NSW public and they will probably even throw another tax at us just to top it off.

Kev, I know you guys try hard at the MCC. But this political thing is a lot dirtier than you think. You watch over the next 6 months or so, they will release statistics to the media on how dangerous motorcycles are as well as how riders are social miss fits who are involved in all sorts of crime. They will get the public on side in opinion polls then they will release their findings into the CTP rises and they will say the insurers are justified because we are a bunch of dangerous criminals who should be taxed off the road and locked in gaol.

The MCC should be nipping these reports in the bud before they get any legs, hit back in the media and make their statistics look like the bullshit spin they are. The MCC wants to act like a political lobby group, well it is now time to step up and be counted as one.

A crack down on motorcyclists is a crack down on motorcycling JOBS ...And I thought LABOUR were all about job creation & support for the working man, rank & file etc.....like motorcycle mechanics, salesmen, specialist technicians, special events organisers, accessory importers, component manufacturers, tyre suppliers, journalists & the list is endless.

This (if its allowed to continue) will filter down the food chain & end up putting people out of work who would otherwise be gainfully employed & paying their taxes to support our massive "social infastructure"....

We've got existing laws to use against anyone ( you know who ) who pushes the envelope but they take the cynical cash strapped way out with speed cameras etc instead of a visible police presence to deter anyone who steps out of line.

The very least you NSW blokes can do is go & have a chat with the shadow minister of transport & get a commitment from him/her to review this process with view to rescind if elected.
Never ride the A model of anything.

This CTP is just a blantant ripeoff against me you and every other motocyclist in NSW I dont Know if you have noticed but car Green slips have gone up too. I register a lot of cars a month we now pay around $100 more for every twelve months we put on a car so check you greenslips next time.

I would love to see another protest much better turn out like the blanket run and any of those other good causes those causes get huge turnout that is what we need for the CTP protest.

but being ripedoff and bent over every time the pollies open their mouths is just not on Ive had enough and Im sure you guys have to so lets see if we carnt get another protest going.
