Hi Troops,
Could'nt help myself, although I said I would leave the Bussa alone. Just fitted the tinted screen and polished the heel guard assemblies.
Sorry for the lousy shots, the camera flash made the rim tape look shocking - They're actually dark blue and not so noticable.
Rear peg assemblies are next, once I figure out how to get them off.
OOP's - I'll figure it out shortly.

You need to take the tail section off. Download a service manual. There great. I just took the tail off last night to put in a tinted taillight. But need to take back off in future so I can paint the rear peg sets 'frame' black.

It would be just as easy to do the pegs if you took the whole tail off. Its really not hard. Then you have direct accsess to Allen heads. Otherwise I think that you'd have to loosen the tail sides anyway. And yeah it gets you hooked alright. In the year I've had mine I've spent and done a bit to her. But I'm in love.....

Thanks Rev004. The new beast is purely for riding and enjoying. I may throw a PC3 at it and a little bit more polish work, but that's about it.
Unfortunately for the Bussa, I'm also hooked on the track day work, so the dollar spending is directed at the track bike.
Having said that, I set the preloads on the Bussa and had a bit of a play around. Now tempted to see how it goes up at the track. I'm surprised at just how well you can throw the big Bussa around - Very impressed.

I've aready been sprung having a look through the turbo section of the forum. Have a Ducati mate / dealer in Bunbury that's very good with Turbo's - No No stop it , go away, leave the new bike alone !

Hoddo you maybe just the man where lookin for..
How well do you know and get on with Patto as we have been trying to sweet talk someone with a Dyno to let us play whilst we re-flash the ECU on the Busa (hahahah No Powder Commander Needed after that).
There's a guy (Camel on the Forum) here in Perth when he's home as he spends most of his time over seas with work that that knows how to re-flash the ECU's but we want some dyno time and to date people we have asked haven't been that keen..
Were not sure why no one wants to give it ago, once you've done one and you see how easy it is then the market here in WA is a gold mine.
Cheers Rev004

Rev004, I shall have a chat to Todd next week. Wayne ( Patto snr ) & I go back a long ways with MX many years ago. I think the trick will be booking some time on the dyno. I know he plays with non Duke gear as I've seen Harley's and the odd ZX10 on the dyno huffing & puffing.

Hey Hoddo any info you can find out would be great, paying / booking for Dyno time no issue there but some of the guys have been a little funny when we have mentioned that a 2nd party will be involved to tune the bike through the re-flashing of the ECU.
Anyway maybe we might be able to take a step forward which will benefit everyone I know that Camel is keen as well it's just a case if we can get access that we can keep him in the country long enough to get down to Bunbury.
Cheers Rev004.

hi i hear about this ECU flashing and i wish that we had someone on this side of the ditch to do it would be alittle expensive to crate my bike up and send it over there to be done. one day there might be someone here to do it the differance sounds amazing. Hoddo i got onto the company about those blue double bubble and 165aud landed at my door so thats about 220nzd so may invest in one thanks again for the info.
