Warm weather - bugger

Went for a ride on Saturday up the Mitta Mitta Valley, enjoying the day when all of a sudden, come around a bend and a big brown snake sits up in the middle of the road and scares the absolute B-JESUS out of me!

During the rest of the ride also had a tiger slither across in front of me, and a black stick it's head out from the side of the road.

Also heaps of dead snakes on the road.
Plus 2 x echidna ! (live - very cute)

The warmer weather is good, but Saturday was a worrying day!

200km, 2 other vehicles and 3 snakes!
Hope this isn't gonna be the standard for this Summer!

Sounds like my ride last sunday.... lots of little critters out and about now with the warmer weather coming. At least you came back in one piece :)

37 degrees in MACKAY today. Getting warm real quick. Time to leave the jacket at home again for summer.

Owning snakes myself ,
generally they want to avoid you as much as you want to avoid them .

When I ride my dirt bike or even stop for a rest they still scurry away .

Really nothing to be too alarmed about , just enjoy riding your Busa

Weather is warming up here in FNQ.

I have had the liners out of my gear for about 2 weeks now.

Fans on now and again in the house....summer is very close...

Still got the heaters on down the bottom of vic.Cold and big waves down at the beach.Has washed away a lot of the dunes latley.
