I retired from the workforce back in November thanks to a nice little redundancy that came a year or so early.
I mentioned this today in at the Suzuki Of Newcastle store to the owner and he has given me a job!
So if you're in Newy and looking for parts on a Saturday, you'll find me in the accessories area.
1 DAY a week can't be too bad can it?

I can't imagine he's be any more arrogant towards Busgo for his Triumph than he is towards his customers!

What a way to retire, doing somethinh you enjoy partime and get paid for it!
How the bloody hell do you retire at 37 Rod? I'm 39 and the future looks bleak (but then, I s'pose you've gotta find a way to fill in the days after retirement)

Good onya Rod. I had my 1st stint at retirement from the Defence Force at 42. Lasted 4 or 5 months, then worked another 8yrs - redundancy #1, 2months off, and this last stint was 5yrs for redundancy #2. I think I will do casual work till I'm 60 but just to fill in time between rides. lol.
I hope to improve on the customer service levels at the store guys, if I can't raise the bar, I'll leave.
