Where to buy a spanner?
#1
Hello,

Just got back from town looking for a 36mm spanner for the rear wheel nut.

Went to super cheap, auto one, discount auto part, repco, bunnings and cash converters.

The biggest i could find was 32mm.

Nobody seems to stock bigger.

Cant be bothered waiting for one to be delivered from an online store. Anyone know where i can get one?

Thanks

A 3/4 Drive socket should be cheaper & Easier to find .

Go to a Tool shop not an auto shop!

Machinery House
Total Tools
Toolmart

I think they are all in Perth...

Plenty about.
Most good Auto shops should sell them.

They are common as "black" impact sockets
used to do up car hub nuts etc.

Mine's 3/4" drive so I just bought a 3/4 to 1/2"
adapter to put a bar on it.

I will never lower my weed intake.

Well, maybe just when maintaining the busa as i didnt realise that there is a 36mm wrench in the toolkit that came with the busa and worked well with a hammer.

God damn.

I would make a really shit mechanic.

I just use a crescent wrench. Works fine.

36mm by half inch drive sockets on ebay.$8.50us,$13.50 postage. Look like reasonable quality. Would easily cope with 73 foot/lb. Paul.

+1. I just use a socket with a torque wrench.
