Test rode the ZX1400
#1
Firstly hello to all
Today i took the all new ZX1400 for a test ride and to my embarrassment while lifting it off the sidestand i nearly threw it over on to its right hand side, Scary oops that would have cost me $1500, seems i was expecting it to be a lot heavier than it was and appears to have a much lower centre of gravity than my 1999 busa.
The bike truly is a masterpeice and is exceptional on the road and i thoroughly enjoyed my test ride experience and with this thanks go to shane at SA motorcycles.
Now in saying this i will not part with my 1999 busa as this is raw riding power at its best but the ZX is full of modern electronics and safety features something that i am looking for when purchasing my next brand new motorcycle.
Will it be a gen 3 busa(when mr Suzuki) or a ZX ? only time will tell just waiting to see the green version when it lands in two weeks.
Just my opinion dudes not trying to stir anything.
Cheers FONC

Thanks mate probably would have been easier if i had ridden it and didnt like it but that is why demonstators are available , how many of us have said " i am just gonna test ride it" then bought it ?

You're exactly right. My first test ride of a 99 busa had me back the next day with my money!
Same again when I just bought my latest bike.

Just thinking about it I have never been on a test ride. First time on a Busa was the day I rode it out of the shop (the money was handed over 2 weeks before I got it, also first time on a 4 cylinder), First ride on the TLR was a couple of weeks after I dragged it 6-7 hours on a trailer home from Brisbane (and got my open licence I must add) and first ride on my RS 250 was when I rode it home from purchasing it.
Sad isnt it Very Happy or does it just mean I know what I want :P
Cheers

But they are so ugly........it might feel good, but do you really want anyone to see you doing it?

Feels good to ride other bikes! Then I get on the busa and think, ah yes!
Think what I need is another bike aside from this one that's the polar opposite of the Busa, a standard or naked hooligan bike.

I must be just old fashioned Lol3
I stick with brands not models Coolsmiley

I wouldn't ever considering jumping ship especially to a Kawasaki Pi_freak

That's why I bought the Street Triple R.
It's just so much fun and easy to throw around in nearly any situation.
Of course it will never be a match for the BUSA but I can always get another when the time is right.
