Pessimism is like being unemployed and when you get a job, wished you hadn't bothered. Optimism, the other side of the coin, starts from a different place, but could very well end up at the same place. It's the Human Condition. Meantime, the psychologists and the lawyers and politicians, clergy, bankers (call them Shylocks) have found a way to make themselves rich and powerful with no strings attached. Is Human Nature good or Bad? Neither, it's out of control, like a child with an unlimited credit card. Gosh! This started out as a One Liner!
