What to do in SA?
#1
SA Brethren,

I am plannning a quick trip to SA taking starting 4/1 and taking about a week to do the round trip back to Sydney.

I will probably be spending 3 days in SA and planning to visit the Barossa (1 day). Any suggestions on anything else to see on the other 2 days (Mt Gambier? Yorke Peninsula?).

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Cheers

Will be damn hot down here for the next week or so. I'd be suggesting you'll want to be staying indoors most days, with next Monday/Tuesday likely to be over 40c.

Are you riding or driving?

Barossa is a nice spot, but some of the most popular areas will be impossible to get accommodation.

Mt Gambier is a fair trek from Adelaide, but not a bad place to go via if you were to going to include the Great Ocean Road as part of your journey.

Some nice beaches and fishing spots on yorke peninsula, but getting a place to stay during chrissy school holidays needs booking way in advance.

I'm not much of a 'tourist in my own town', so I hope some of the other guys can offer you some advice.
