Shift Rod

Hey people, I'd measure my shifter rod, but the bikes in Melb. I'm in Darwin.

Can some Gen 2 owner please measure a shifter rod for me please?

You are really asking for trouble Pete with a question like that on this forum.
If you measure your own shifter rod you have serious issues.
If you expect one of us to measure ours for you you must think we are mad.
This is a bike forum man. What was you thinking??

i have two gen 2's in my garage at the moment and both measure 7in from bolt to bolt.
Thats without any external stimulation such as naughty movies, magazines etc.

I just measured mine and its a bit shorter than yours Pete. I measured 175mm (tad under 7") .. might be a bit colder where I am ..
