CARBON KEVLAR FRONT BRAKE PADS SET
#1

Fitted these a few months ago...

Seem to work fine in the dry, but I get a lag of a couple of seconds at low speeds in the wet between hitting the front brake and getting any stopping power.

Anyone else found this? Have I got off pads or do they all do this?

I have similar issues. In your case, you've got pads suited for track use......not street. There is a misconseption that carbon pads will be awesome
on the road.....not exactly the case. Yes they will stop you with amazing power...however, Unless you can keep the operating temps up you will always
have serious issues with braking force........especially initial bite!!! Like you've found......you have none! In the wet....have fun!!!

Trail your brake a little to generate friction and keep the temps up. You should only need enough pressure at the lever with one finger to keep enough
pressure on the pads, but it still doesn't activate your brake light.

There has been many cases, I've gone to grab a fistful at the lever only to find.....no brakes at all.......then all of a sudden.......Scary
