Just rolling my road busa off the bike lifter and it came down pretty hard on the side stand - managed to catch it OK, so no damage.

That thread took out a majority of metal right on a stress point, why were the screws needed?
Scrap that ?? I see they are adjustable... You would thing a 1/2 sunk hole and grub screw was all that's needed

Scary Would be intersting to see what the insurance would say if you did drop it. Opportunity to avoid paying the claim perhaps.
