Hi xxx, as per RYDRZ bellow PTR's web site is http://www.ptr.com.au/
I first cam across Phil after reading about a 2004 Hayabusa he managed to pull 200 BHP with relatively minor modifications, I was very impressed by his work and knowledge. Not sure if he would be interested in insurance work but it cant hurt to ask. Good luck.

Also, isn't Revhead (AHC member) a mechanic, he certainly knows his stuff but not sure if he runs his own business for the insurance side, look him up and ask.

or if your confindant with removal of your
1/ fuel tank, drain fuel out, remove fuel pump, remove bottem plate under your fuel tank, remove left side alloy joiner piece between no1 & no2 fuel injector..

2/buy an FPR(turbosmart fuel pressure regulator$230.oo),liquid filled fuel guage$34.oo,inline fuel filter $12.oo,from a busa wreckers
get the metal inline fuel feed to the fuel rail$20.00,fuel line, fuel line barbed joiners, fuel line jointing paste,

3/ring VICTORIAN PERFORMANCE WARHOUSE on 1300 VPW VPW , in epping ,cooper st & price a small fuel pump,
From $135.oo,DW DEATSCH WERKS Intank application,200 series or 300series..

then bring it to me or call me & I'll come & fit it up for you..

reason being - the stock hayabusa fuel pressure regulator is the size of your thumb nail,& not adjustable
the after market fuel pump will cope with what ever hard riding you do.
I've got a 255litre per hour walbro fuel pump on my busa, but it needs it , u may not need such a high flowing pump.
the fpr from turbosmart- u can adjust to exactly 42psi/45psi & its a rising rate fuel pressure regulator-as the rev's go up-so does the fpr- to cope with fuel demand..
as for the fuel rail inline T piece, you can flip it ova to the left handside use it as a return fuel line to the - FPR - fuel guage - & then tank

theres still bits inside the tank u need so dont break it or throw it away- u need fuel level gauge still, nice feature to have

this way will cost less than the $1500.00 to replace your original 99 fuel pump-,keep it in a box,its now history mate,

How did you jag a fuel pump upgrade as an insurance claim? Rob

chris, you don't need the best mechanic in melbourne....It's just a fuel pump.
just take it to Byrners or over to Tristan at Redline.

PTR probably can't do it on insurance anyway, as he won't be an authorised repairer.

I would recommend Gassit in Heidelberg. They specialise in jap bikes and the guys are really nice to work with.
Have taken yamahahahahas and Suzi's there.
Not an employee just a customer.
