Ant Nests. Beware
#1
There has been a lot of ant activity in SE QLD for the past few months and the little buggers have been moving up to any high ground. I had a nest in my Davis weather station (way up on a pole) that fouled it and left me with a 2 hour maintenance job. Then the other day I saw ants all over my busa's tank Scary

Sometimes a single ant, sucked into a tiny breater can screw up a bikes performance. Whether that can happen on the busa I don't know but I don't want a sandy ant nest under my arse in any case.

They were coming up the side stand, not enough lube there to fend them off so I sprayed the bolt and surrounds with lanotech. They can also get up a bike cover if it's touching the ground or even the tires but they cant get from tires to frame because of the grease around the axle I believe.

Until these little pricks return to their senses I am ensuring nothing touches the bike or drags on the ground from the bike. Watch those side stands though.
