Hi all. I have just spoken to my mechanic and the news is bad. Stator cover has a hole in it and no wreckers have any. Also the fuel pressure reg and the fuel pump seem to have sh@ themselves.
Any idea what I should do? Aftermarket fuel pump?
Thanks muchly in advance.

Hi. I have a re-conditioned Gen 1 (1999, external) pump. Cost me $150, but never used it.
Let me know if it's cost effective, compared to buying after-market pumps...

If your sator is ok and if your concerned about price just throw a cheap cover from china on there's plenty on ebay a slider is a good investment to

As always the bus club comes to the rescue. You guys rock.
Mechanic dismantled the pump and cleared 15 years worth of grit and possums from the filters.
Have scoped the cheap chinese covers (like the cracked one currently on there) and it looks like $50 well spent.

Thanks guys.
