Petcock problem

Here's one I have never come across before I was replacing the fuel hose on my 99 and one of the brass pipes coming out of the Petcock come off and for the life of me I can't see how it was adhered anyone know how to fix this or do I need to get a replacement Petcock.

tap in fit , no adhesive needed
if it leaks after refitting then look for a replacement
