Whats wrong with the 2010? You want to spend all that money to get ABS?
The 2017 GSXR1000 is going to have a upgrade in electronics, have seen the rumored new styling of the next Hayabusa but might not be out until 2018 with similar electronics package. I think you should keep riding the 2010 for another couple years, nothing wrong with the Gen 2.

in my option the styling of the Kwaka is bland but I understand it's an opinion. I agree with Mozzie and would stick with what you have. If getting itchy feet add some nice bling! You already have one of the fastest and best allround bikes on the planet. Many have tried other bikes and come back to the mighty Bus.

Just starting to get to the stage it is starting to have stages of wear.
Maintenance cost starting to increase, New starter motor, starter clutch.
Just waying up the costs compared to trading to new model.
But sounds like no 1500 in near future.
Yes i can understand it is only a 2010 model also.
Just like to keep updated models.
