I wonder if the R1 rider didn't muck up prior to the busa whizzing by. If you watch the white line on the road, he is going quick, then just as he crosses it he looks to have messed up which would mean he slows just enough for the fly by to look even better. The busa does seem to go so far then stay at a certain distance.

Riders matter more before the bike factors in. Most decent riders on a 600, would beat me around a track on my busa.

I reckon the guy on the R1 didn't even know the busa was trackin him down and moved back into the slow lane after passing the traffic. The busa had no where else to go without running up his arse, so he takes the inside line and bye bye.
