I read the independant test brock davidson did on ivans tre.Interesting.Big gains are made as the tre controls the secondary butterflys.Must be mapped though as a extreme lean condition occurs.When done though massive bottom end torque emerges which makes it nicer to street ride but harder to drag race unless you lower it.My bike doesn,t have a tre fitted and I think it makes them easier to launch at the drags but perhaps less torquey around town.Sounds like a switchable TRE would suit provided the fuel mapping was kosher for both.
